Lot#: 166 Covered Blue and White Phoenix Ginger Jar with a Yongli Mark The body of this jar has slightly rounded sides and angled shoulders, and is supported on a tall splayed foot. It is decorated with a pair of phoenixes set amidst lotus scrolls above a band of petal lappets. The shoulders are decorated with a pair of phoenix amidst floral scrolls, and a pair of elephant head handles flanked on either side. The shoulders taper to a short straight neck, and the neck is encircled with a diaper border. The foot is decorated with floral scrolls.
