As a special boutique auction house, Karbury's offers a variety of ways to seamlessly purchase auction items. Carefully sourced and curated, all of our objects and artworks are sold at www.liveauctioneers.com or www.Invaluable.com. We are delighted to offer you a special invitation to preview any lots before the sale; however, an appointment may be necessary to view certain items. This allows you to examine the property in person and decided if you wish to acquire that special object or artwork.
Please read our Terms and Conditions of Sale before you bid. Bidding on an item in our auction indicates that you accept all terms and conditions of sale.
You must register 24 hours before the auction begins. Once a completed bidder registration has been received by us, we will review the registration and notify the bidder accordingly. There is no cost involved with registration.

Telephone bids allow you to bid over the telephone through a Karbury's staff member. You will be eligible for phone bidding on lots with a low estimate of $1,000 or more.
Telephone bids can be submitted in person, via our website, or via fax. When the auctioneer is approaching your desired lot, a staff member will telephone you and the staff member will inform you of the current bid and you can instruct the staff member to bid on your behalf. The Telephone Bidder Form must be submitted at least 24 hours before the auction. A Buyer's Premium of 20% and any applicable taxes and fees will be added to the hammer price to be paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price.

If you do not wish to bid over the phone, or if you are not eligible for telephone bidding, you can submit an "Absentee Bid" and have a Karbury's staff member bid on your behalf up to the highest bid amount. Bidder must submit the absentee bid with the highest amount that they are willing to bid. Absentee Bids can be submitted in person, via our website or via fax.
Absentee Bidder Form must be submitted at least 24 hours before auction. A Buyer's Premium of 20% and any applicable taxes and fees will be added to the hammer price to be paid by the buyer as part of the total purchase price.

We are pleased to offer our clients online bidding via third-party online platforms, including www.liveauctioneers.com and www.Invaluable.com. In addition to completing registration with us, the Bidder must also register with one of these platforms in order to bid live online with us. Links to www.invaluable.com will be added to our auction page when available.

A Buyer's Premium and any applicable sales tax and fees plus the Internet auction fees will be added to the hammer price to be paid by the buyer as part of the total purchase price.The Internet auction fee is assessed by the internet companies.

The purchase price you pay is the amount at which the auctioneer has indiciated the item as "sold" or when the hammer fall (the hammer price) plus the Buyer's Premium, any applicable taxes and fees, any shipping and handling fees, and any applicable Internet auction fees. The Karbury's Terms and Conditions of Sale have a precise breakdown of these cost elements. We accept Cash, wire transfer, and most major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.) Please email us for our wire transfer instructions.
Credit card payments are accepted for payments not exceeding $10,000. Wire transfer is required where the payments exceeds $10,000. Auction house shall receive the total sum of the purchase price and other related charges. The Bidder is responsible for all bank charges and transfer fees.
In the event the bidder does not contact us to make payment arrangements within three business days, the bidder authorizes Auction House to charge the bidder's credit card on file. Bidder authorizes Auction House to debit the purchase price, shipping and handling, and other related charges to the transaction on bidder's credit card.
