A Large Ming Style Wucai Carp Ewer with Cover
The ovoid form with rounded sides is decorated with carps swimming amidstwater plants and a band of petal lappets above the foot, cylintrical-shaped handle and spout decorated with floral scrolls along the top edge, the angled shoulders decorated with floral scrolls, the upper incurve section decorated with a chevron band, the domed cover simarilydecorated with undulating scalloped edges and surmounted with an animal motif finial.
