Lot: 122 A Large Blue and White Crane Ewer with Cover with a Wanli Mark This ovoid ewer has rounded shoulders and tapering sides, and is decorated with flying cranes amongst clouds, a lappet border at the base, and a band of ruyi heads below a narrow band of classic scroll encircling the neck. The tall arch handle is decorated with ruyi leafy scroll, and an animal head motif is applied as the spout.
